Siem Reap

Siem Reap is known the world over as a major center of  Khmer culture, not only because of its glorious past but for what it represents about modern Cambodia as well. Here, you will not only find extraordinary religious architecture dating from the 14th, 15th and 16th centuries, but will also discover professional golf courses, great swimming, museums, art galleries, cooking classes, craft shops, spas, first-class luxury hotels and superb eateries serving both Khmer and Western cuisine.

Our superior English guides have designed an experience that you won't soon forget.  We have combined plenty of time in your itinerary to relax and enjoy the many amenities of Siem Reap, but to also help you uncover the great mysteries that surround such places as Angkor Wat, one of the world's largest and most mysterious of religious structures . Your visit is designed with relaxation in mind as well as taking in the main sites over the course of five days.

A welcome dinner at one of the town's best restaurants introduces you to the fresh flavors of authentic Khmer cuisine and over the next four days you will discover what thousands already have discovered: The Khmer people are "the friendliest people on earth" who treasure their heritage and who are anxious to show the world why they are so proud of it.

You will experience not only Angkor Wat ("wat" refers to a complex of buildings on a temple's grounds), a fabulous view from a tethered helium balloon, Southeast Asia's largest freshwater lake, the Tonle Sap, flooded forests, temples "held together" by strangler fig trees (catch a view of this temple in the film, "Lara Croft, Tomb Raider"), floating villages, stilted houses, and a host of other sights that you have never experienced before.

Come visit Cambodia soon.  We wait with great eagerness to show you our country and its heritage.

You may well want to add an extension to this adventure with a visit  Sihanoukville for a few days to the seaside or travel to Bangkok and experience the excitement of the Thai capital as well.
