After completion of border crossing, you will be chauffeured on a private luxury AC vehicle by our Cambodian driver to Siem Reap, Cambodia. The drive approximately takes two hours.

Siem Reap - is the provincial capital of Siem Reap province. This small town crossed by a river coming from the Kulen Mountain is the gateway for the visit of the Angkor Park which is over 400 km2 and is home of more than 100 temples dating from the 9th to 13th century.

Upon arrival in Siem Reap, you will be met and welcomed by our English speaking guide and then check in to your hotel.

After check in to hotel, transfer for lunch at local restaurant (lunch is at your own cost)

Angkor Wat - after lunch, transfer to visit the magnificent temple Angkor Wat, built by Suryavarman II in the early 12th century. Angkor Wat symbolizes Mount Meru, home of the gods, and considered the pinnacle of Khmer architecture. This Vishnuite temple is the King’s funerary temple, which is why the temple is oriented to the west. Inside the temple the walls are covered by carvings and bas-reliefs depicting the Hindu mythology and the wars during the reign of Suryavarman II. As well, Angkor Wat is well-known for the 1800 Apsara dancers decorating the temple. It is said to take a lifetime to discover all the wonders of this temple.

Return to Siem Reap after watching sunset over the top of Phnom Bakheng Hill. Dominating the flat landscape, this 10th Century mountain temple is the most popular spot in the area to watch a classic sunset over Angkor Wat and the surrounding forest or

Watching sunset at Pre Rup temple, a Hindu temple, built as the state temple of king Rajendravarman and dedicated in 961. It is a temple mountain of combined brick, laterite and sandstone construction. The temple’s name is a comparatively modern one meaning "turn the body". This reflects the common belief among Cambodians that funerals were conducted at the temple, with the ashes of the body being ritually rotated in different directions as the service progressed.

During the night of your stay in Siem Reap, you can enjoy Siem Reap nightlife, night markets, foods and other fun activities in Siem Reap downtown, Pub Street areas and city formerly French colonial head quarter.

Overnight at your hotel in Siem Reap.

Day II - Angkor Wat sunrise, Angkor Thom, Bayon, Ta Prohm, small circuit and Banteay Srei excursion

Angkor Wat Sunrise
- at 5am, pick up for viewing the picturesque sunrise at Angkor Wat.

Return to hotel for breakfast

Angkor Thom City complex - after breakfast, continue to the Great City of Angkor Thom, the last capital of the Great Khmer Empire under the reign of Jayavarman VII. This city is surrounded by an 8 meters high wall; each side of the city is 3 kilometers long. It draws a perfect square with access to this town through 5 gates; 4 of them representing the cardinal points and the 5th one being the Victory Gate leading directly to the Royal Palace area.

You will arrive via the South Gate, an impressive stone gate carved with Elephants and 4 giant faces. On each side is a row of 54 gods or demons holding the sacred Naga snake.

After passing through the South Gate, you will go along a shaded road to the Bayon temple. This temple lies exactly in the center of the city. The particularity of this monument is the 54 towers representing the 54 provinces of the then Great Khmer Empire. Each tower has 4 faces. This is the only temple in Cambodia depicting scenes of the everyday life at the time of the empire.

From the Bayon continue by walking to the Baphoun recently re-opened to the public. There you will pass by the Phimeanakas, the location of the Royal Palace. The only remaining features are a pond and a temple. The palace was made of wood and did not survive the time and the wars.

Then continue to the Terrace of the Elephants. This terrace was the place where the parade was held for the king. Next is the Terrace of the Leper King depicting the water world.

Ta Prohm (known as Tomb Raider temple) & small circuit - continue to Ta Prohm, one of the most popular temples of the Angkor Complex. This temple was built in the memory of the King Jayavarman VII’s mother. When found by the French conservators at the end of the 19th century, they deliberately left this temple in the same condition as it was discovered, overgrown by strangler fig and silk-cotton trees, giving the temple a mystical and romantic appeal.

Your visit will also include Banteay Kdei, a Buddhist monastery from the late 12th century and Srah Srang, also known as the "pool of ablution", the identical twin temples of Tommanon and Chaosay Tevoda, and Krovan temple.

Lunch at local restaurant (at your own cost)

Banteay Srei excursion - continue for an excursion to visit Banteay Srei, made of pink sandstone and is one of the smallest temple you can visit but one of the most beautiful as well. Built in 967 AD by a guru to Jayavarman V, it showcases the most exquisite, deep and complex carvings in all Khmer architectures. As well the carvings and bas-relief are in a perfect condition although being here for more than millenary.

During the night of your stay in Siem Reap, you can enjoy Siem Reap nightlife, night markets, foods and other fun activities in Siem Reap downtown, Pub Street areas and city formerly French colonial head quarter.

Overnight at your hotel in Siem Reap.

Day III - Chong Kneah floating village, Pub Street, Siem Reap City formerly French colonial head quarter, return and drop off back to your requested location in Thailand

Chong Kneah floating village
- after breakfast at your hotel, transfer to the Phnom Krom pier for boat on Tonle Sap Lake to visit floating village of Chong Kneah at the edge of Tonle Sap Lake. Cambodia’s Great Lake, the Boueng Tonle Sap (Tonle Sap Lake) is the most prominent feature on the map of Cambodia – a huge dumbbell-shaped body of water stretching across the northwest section of the country. In the wet season, the Tonle Sap Lake is one of the largest freshwater lakes in Asia, swelling to an expansive 12,000km2. During the dry, half of the year the lake shrinks to as 3000 km2, draining into the Tonle Sap River, which meanders southeast eventually merging with the Mekong River at the “Chaktomuk” confluence of river opposite Phnom Penh.

Then it's time for shopping at the Artisans d'Angkor, where you can observe young Cambodians being trained in the making of traditional crafts.

Stop by Siem Reap downtown, exploring Old Market, Pub Street and Siem Reap City formerly French cololial head quarter.

Lunch at local restaurant (at your own costs)

Returning time - at 4pm (but flexible and available upon request), part ways with the tour guide, you will be chauffeured back to Poi Pet border on a private luxury A/C vehicle. Upon arrival at border, you will be met and welcomed by our border English speaking guide. Our border guide will escort you to the door of Cambodia immigration departure checkpoint to stamp your passports to leave Cambodia and then escort you across border to the door of Thailand immigration arrival checkpoint to fill your Thailand arrival cards, stamp your passports to enter Thailand and then take you straight to our office near border in Thailand where our luxury A/C minivan is ready to chauffeur you back to your preferred drop off location in Thailand.

Great tour experience at amazing Angkor

My friend and I traveled from Bangkok to Cambodia to do a tour of the Angkor Archeological Park. We found Angkor Wat Services through Tripadvisor and were not disappointed. Sophoan arranged transportation by car from Bangkok to Siem Reap and a customized 1.5 day tour. The guide and Sophoan worked with us to make sure we got to see everything we wanted even though the time was short. The tour itself was great, the tour guide extremely knowledgable and enjoyable to talk to. The driver for the tour was equally good and very friendly. Sophoan came to meet us at our hotel to check and make sure we were satisfied and that everything was going smoothly. I cannot say enough good things about how efficient, flexible and kind he was. Thank you for making our experience there truly enjoyable and enlightening.

Worth Every Penny

I was a little nervous about booking this trip as we need to cross the border from Thailand. Sophoan was so very responsive and answered all of my questions. The pick-up was ontime. He arranged for someone to walk with us (literally) through the border crossing in both Thailand and checking into Cambodia. A Taxi was waiting to pick us up. Sophoan and Sim were waiting for us. Sim was very respectful and sharded a lot of his knowledge of the area and the culture. It was very hot and Sim took special care to ensure we were rested and drank lots of water. He showed us where to take the best pictures and made sure we were in most of them. At the end of our journey he took us to a very beautiful shop for collectables. I would recommend this trip to anyone. My pictures do not do justice the amazing adventure we experienced.

Trip of a Lifetime!

My friend and I visited Cambodia last December 26, 2014. It was a day trip organized by Mr. Sophoan Rath from our hotel in Bangkok to Cambodia and a return trip to our hotel again. We communicated with Mr. Sophoan via email. I chose his services based on what I've read here in trip advisor. Mostly, it's all good experiences so I told to my friend why not give it a try. Although, we have a minor problem with our driver that morning who will take us to the border of Poipet and Cambodia but Mr. Sophoan compensated the delay that the driver gave to us. It was really a remarkable experience. Mr. Sophoan is so kind, very knowledgeable and walks fast!!. I guess, my friend and I loose some fats!!😁😁. It consist a lot of walking and climbing in the temples so a comfortable shoes is a must. It's really a great experience having been there. Before, we just read Angkor Wat in our history books and never imagined that one day we will be able to see it for real. Mr. Sophoan explained to us the historical and cultural aspects of the place. Being a teacher before, it's was really easy to communicate with him. He also knows which spots are great for photo op and mind you he's also great in taking pictures. At the end of the trip, he make sure that we will reach our hotel safe. I would highly recommend Mr. Sophoan and his services. You wil definitely have a memorable trip like us. It was indeed an experience of a lifetime.

Mr. Lee A - Bangkok Angkor Wat Koh Chang

Highly Recommended

If you are looking for a great official tour guide that will help you organise your entire trip to Cambodia, or simply require an honest, friendly and knowledgeable guide who will tell you everything you want to know about Angkor Wat and will look after you like royalty - I would have no hesitation in recommending Sophoan as he made Cambodia the highlight of our SE Asia holiday.

After sending emails to many of the companies on Trip Advisor that offered tours and transfer services to Siem Reap from Bangkok; Cambodia Travel Trails/Angkor Wat Services was the only company that always responded to my many questions promptly. Their swift response and flexibility of travel arrangements gave me great confidence to commit to booking our tour of Angkor Wat together with transfer services from Bangkok to Siem Reap and then from Siem Reap to Koh Chang.

As planned, we were picked up from our Bangkok hotel at 5.00am and driven to the border where we were escorted across by members of their team. We experienced no delays, scams or having to pay any ‘extra’ fees as we had read so much about at this land border. By 11.30am we were at our hotel in Siem Reap. The following morning we were met a 5.00am by our tour guide Sophoan Rath.

Sophoan Rath runs both Cambodia Travel Trails and Angkor Wat Services and was the perfect guide. He was polite, honest, friendly and had in-depth knowledge of the Angkor Wat complex and always making sure that we were comfortable (he kept a boot full of chilled drinking water). We had a full day tour planned from sunrise to sunset and by the end of it felt as though we had seen more amazing sights in that day than in our entire holiday.

Our transfer from Siem Reap to Koh Chang was equally as smooth as the Bangkok transfer, sailing through the border with no hold ups.

If you want to experience Angkor Wat but are somewhat daunted by the dubious border crossing, I would highly recommend the services of Sophoan via either of his companies. Again, if you are just looking for a great official tour guide that will tell you everything you need to know about Angkor Wat or the recent history of I would have no hesitation in recommending Sophoan.

Me and my 3 friends visited Cambodia for a 2 day trip. Sophan Rath and his guide made our trip very easy. He is very kind and informative. I can recommend him to anyone who visit Siem reap/ Ankor wat. His Schedule was perfect for a 2 day trip.

Sophoan is a star!!!..

we enjoyed the combodian trip very much I ve just finished travelling siem reap and sophoan arranged us everything from Hotels, Taxi, Angorwat temples tour with A/C car and our trip back to bangkok , all went very safe. We were a bit scared to do the road trip but Mr. Sophoan arranged everything and we felt very very ease. I cannot thank him enough.. he is cheap and is really good compared to other guides we have used all over the world. We got more than our money's worth here with Sophoan and his company! We will visit him again

Polite & Professional Guide Ever

My first trip to Cambodia. Sophan listens to our requirement politely and gives his suggestion about everything. He recommended a good hotel and arranged a spacious vehicle for 4 of us. We planned to cross border by road and reach bangkok. After 2 days in siem reap he arranged a car to drop us in border and he came along with us to cross the border and introduced a new car driver in aranyapat. He helped us very much and we would surly get in touch with him in our next trips to cambodia for sure. His English is excellent and he is a complete professional. I recommend his services to everybody who visits cambodia.

FUN Angkor Wat trip w Mr Sophoan Rath!

We came to Angkor Wat from Bangkok via land, and shift through so many touring companies in order to find the best one with best reputation to avoid landing in bad situations, like what we heard of from fellow travelers online

We couldn't be happier! Mr Sophoan Rath is very professional, patient, accommodating & informative. From pick-up at our Bangkok hotel, through the Thailand-Cambodia land border hassles, and then the drop-off at our hotel back in Bangkok at the end of the trip : all went smoothly.. He helped us arrange our itineraries based on what we want to see and experience

Thanks to him, we had very wonderful memories of Siem Reap: majestic temples of Angkor Wat, beautiful sunrise, unique balloon ride, shopping at the night market, massage, tasty Korean food, and lots of great pictures !!!

Great Guide: Sophoan Rath

I travelled to Cambodia on a solo trip recently and secured the services of Mr. Rath. I was warned by friends that I may get scammed etc. But when I met Mr. Rath I immediately felt at ease. He met me at the Thailand Border and accompanied me to Siem Reap and then back again, ensuring I was always safe and comfortable. He was at my disposal at all times, advising and ensuring I was safe and having a good time. His was kind, friendly and knowledgeable on the history of Cambodia, highlighting the good and bad. I learnt a lot about the history, people and culture. His hospitality was the best I have had in Asia and I highly recommend his services. He also booked a wonderful hotel for me. All in all one of the best, relaxed and fun trips ever.
