Phnom Penh - Siem Reap

Modern Cambodia has been shaped by its glorious and horrific past!  From the great Angkor empire to the French 99-year occupation, the tragic and devastating rule of the Khmer Rouge, and the bombing of our country by the United States, Cambodia has been shaped by its past. This five day experience will allow you to view a broad range of our history from the glorious Angkor Wat era, to the recent tragedies we have experienced and to the rebuilding our beloved homeland. We think that you will find that the Khmer people have survived its recent past with great adaptability, courage and resolve.  We are certain that your experience with us will be not only a thrilling one, but will allow you to unlock many of the mysteries that Cambodia holds.

Our capital city, Phnom Penh ("Pnom Pen"), is alive and thriving.  The city holds much treasure like stunning French colonial architecture, the royal palace, our national museum of art not to mention our city's wide and beautiful boulevards. We do not fail to mention that the Khmer people themselves are often called the "friendliest people on earth." Our city boarders the magnificent Tonle Sap river so there are many opportunities to see the city in various ways: walking, boating, tuk-tuk or rented car.  But whatever way you decide to see Phnom Penh, you will leave with many wonderful and enchanting experiences that you will not soon to forget.

When you visit Siem Reap, you will have plenty of time to explore the many and justly famous temples dating from the Angkor empire.. With hundreds of temples within a 40 square-kilometer area, your English-speaking expert guide(s) will show you all of the highlights, along with some hidden gems rarely seen by many tourists. From the impressive Angkor Wat (a "wat" is a temple complex), which is often compared to the magnificent cathedral at Chartres, France to the small, lovely Banteay Srei, you will be filled with wonder and admiration for all things "Cambodian."

From the country's modern capital to its ancient one, experience the rich cultural heritage of our beloved Cambodia.
