Day I - Angkor Wat, Angkor Thom, Bayon, Ta Prohm, Small Circuit and Phnom Bakheng Hill Sunset or Pre Rup Temple Sunset
Angkor Thom city complex – you will be met and welcomed by our English speaking guide at your preferred pick-up location and then transfer onward to visit the Great City of Angkor Thom, the last capital of the Great Khmer Empire under the reign of Jayavarman VII. This city is surrounded by an 8m high wall; each side of the city is 3 kilometers long. It draws a perfect square you access this town through 5 gates, 4 of them represent the cardinal points and the 5th one the Victory Gate was the one leading directly to the Royal Palace area.
You will arrive via the South Gate, an impressive stone gate carved with Elephants and 4 giant faces. On each side is a row of 54 gods or demons holding the sacred Naga snake.
After passing through the South Gate, you will go down along this shady road to the Bayon temple. This temple lies exactly in the center of the city. The particularity of this monument is the 54 towers representing the 54 provinces of the then Great Khmer Empire. Each tower has 4 faces. This is the only temple in Cambodia depicting scenes of the everyday life at the time of the empire.
From the Bayon continue by walk to the Baphoun recently re-opened to the public. There you will pass by the Phimeanakas the location of the Royal Palace. The only remaining are a pond and a temple. The palace was made of wood and did not survive the time and the wars.
Then continue to the Terrace of the Elephants. This Terrace was the place where the parade was done for the king. Next is the Terrace of the Leper King, depicting the water world.
Ta Prohm overgrown temple – continues transfer to Ta Prohm - one of the most popular temples of the Angkor Complex. This temple was built in the memory of the King Jayavarman VII’s mother. When found by the French conservators at the end of the 19th century, they deliberately left this temple in the same condition as it was discovered, overgrown by strangler fig and silk-cotton trees, giving the temple a mystical and romantic appeal.
Your visit will include Banteay Kdei, a Buddhist monastery from the late 12th century, Srah Srang, also known as the “pool of ablutions”, the identical twin temples of Tommanon and Chaosay Tevoda, Ta Keo and Krovan temple.
Lunch at local restaurant (at your own costs)
Angkor Wat – continue visit the magnificent temple of Angkor Wat, built by Suryavarman II in early 12th century. Angkor Wat is constructed following the model of the temple mountain symbolizing the mount Merou, home of the gods, considered as the masterpiece of the Khmer architecture. This Vishnuite temple is the King’s funerary temple that is why the temple is oriented to the west. Inside the temple the walls are covered by carvings and bas-reliefs depicting the Hindu mythology and the wars Suryavarman II made during his reign. As well Angkor Wat is well known for the 1800 Apsara dancers decorating the all temple. But like most say, it takes a life time to discover all the wonders of this temple.
Return to Siem Reap after watching sunset at Phnom Bakheng Hill. Dominating the flat landscape, this 10th Century mountain temple is the most popular spot in the area to watch a classic sunset over Angkor Wat and the surrounding forest or
Watching sunset at Pre Rup temple, a Hindu temple, built as the state temple of king Rajendravarman and dedicated in 961. It is a temple mountain of combined brick, laterite and sandstone construction. The temple’s name is a comparatively modern one meaning "turn the body". This reflects the common belief among Cambodians that funerals were conducted at the temple, with the ashes of the body being ritually rotated in different directions as the service progressed.
During the night of your stay in Siem Reap, you can enjoy Siem Reap nightlife, night markets, foods and other fun activities in Siem Reap downtown, Pub Street areas and city formerly French colonial head quarter.
Return and drop off at your preferred destination.

We loved it
I honestly don't know where to begin. We did the very ambitious day tour from Bangkok to Siem Reap. The driver arrived for us promptly at 2 am in a very big bus. We were happy about this because that meant we would each have space to sleep. We arrived at the Thailand/Cambodia boarder a little before 6 am and were met by an english speaking guide who walked with us from the van to the boarder where we crossed alone but were met on the Cambodia side by our driver Kim. We drove about 3 hours from the boarder and arrived in Siem Reap where we picked up our tour guide (also named Kim). Tour guide Kim was absolutely amazing. We got the best photos and had a great day all because this your was so properly organized. I would definitely do it again!

Great organization and Angkor Wat experience
We took a private tour from Bangkok to Siem Reap and back with a guided tour to Angkor Wat. Everything was perfectly organized - trip door to door plus help with the border and stay in a very comfortable hotel near Siem Reap's night life. The highlight of the trip was Mr. Kim Saphatt's guided tour to Angkor Wat. His history knowledge along with remarkable sense for photography made this trip unforgetable. I highly recommend this tour!

Beautiful day in Cambodia!
Unforgettable day in Cambodia!
As we were staying in Bangkok, we decided to go to Cambodia for a day trip to visit Angkor Wat and found this company, they’re probably one of the best in the business, we had an amazing time. Everything was planned perfectly and well coordinated by Mr. Sophoan Rat who kept in contact with me through the whole booking process and after sending all the info we needed for the trip.
It was only me and my sister taking this tour and we felt perfectly safe and well looked after.
The day started really early, at 3am we got picked up from our driver in our hotel lobby and we started our long but pleasant drive to Poipet to cross the border to Cambodia. The van was so comfy and big we of course fell asleep! Ahah
We did our visa and they stamped our passport exactly like Mr. Sophoan Rat explained to us.
Once we did that, we were met by our Cambodian driver that took us for a long drive to Siem Reap and then to have breakfast in a very cute local restaurant. There we met with Kim who was supposed to be our guide but he said he was busy that day so we had another guide which unfortunately I can’t remember the name of, but he was so knowledgeable and knew all the right places to take beautiful pictures!!!
We had so much fun with him
We first saw Angkor Wat and it was everything we expect it to be, if not more. Simply impossible to explain! We listened to its fascinating story and we walked around its ground. After that we visited all the other temples in the complex.
To visit the other temple the Cambodian driver escorted us to each and everyone of them, picking us up right after we finished with the visit, he gave us so much water every time to help us recover from the long walk and hot weather!! We were really pleased with that!
Our visit finished at the local markets where we parted way with our guide and got back in the car to go back to the border.
Crossing the border for us was a bit hard but in the end we made it, make sure you bring everything and make sure you follow the instructions to get back to Thailand.
It was a very long and tiring day but 100% worth all the hassle to be able to see such sights.
100% recommend if you want to visit Angkor Wat!!!

Incredible Day Trip!
Book with this tour company!! This company is literally incredible. Sophoan is the most responsive man I have ever corresponded with and we have a 12 hour time difference between us! He answered all of the questions we had before we came, and the step-by-step itinerary and information he sent along ahead of time was so helpful.
My husband and I did the day tour from Bangkok to Angkor Wat and everyone we interacted with from the tour company was so helpful, kind, and punctual. When we arrived at the border, a fire had broken out in Poipet at a local casino, and the border was closed for a short time. We managed to make it through the border with the help of our tour personnel, who were all extremely friendly. Because that set our trip back a bit, Sophoan offered for us to stay in Cambodia later and even offered to put us up in a hotel in Siem Reap at no extra cost. While we weren't able to take advantage of his offer to stay the night as we had another trip leaving from Bangkok the next morning, we were blown away by his kind offer.
This was absolutely the best tour experience we have ever had, despite how busy things were with the fire at the Poipet border. The personnel we interacted with made us feel safe and answered every question we had. Despite us staying in Cambodia a bit later than expected (given the delay in the morning, which was of course not the fault of the tour company!), everyone from the tour company was so lovely and accommodating.
If you're considering this tour, my husband and I absolutely 100% recommend it. We are so glad this tour program exists, as we had really wanted to see the Angkor Wat Archaeological Complex but were staying so far away in Bangkok. Sophoan, Sokkoan, and all of the other personnel we interacted with throughout the day were absolutely incredible, and we could not have asked for a more memorable and amazing day.

The best trip around Angkor with the sweetest tour guide!
The trip was organized extremely well and the guide was the nicest in the world! We had the best time hearing stories about Angkor and joking with the guide. We were taken care of all the time for example being provided with water for the whole trip.
We would definitely recommend booking this trip because this way you can be sure to be in good hands and use your time in Angkor most efficiently :)

Full Day Trip worth it!
We took the full day tour from Bangkok to Siem Reap. Sophoan was very responsive both leading up to and during our trip. He made sure we had everything we needed to get back into Thailand (we witnessed someone else without the proper travel documentation and were very happy that Sophoan had prepared us!). Between the drivers, boarder escorts and guide, there are careful handoffs - we always felt very safe and cared for during the trip. Our guide (Kong) was fantastic - his historical knowledge and English were fantastic! We would highly recommend this experience and are so happy we did it!
A couple of notes for first time travelers:
- You will stop for lunch, but possibly not breakfast, snack, or dinner - recommend packing a few snacks as it is a very long day (pickup at 3AM - drop-off between 10/11PM)
- Cambodia they pretty much only take USD - so not worth converting
- Mask was requested when going through border back into Thailand
- Ladies bring some paper for toilet for stop during drive to/from Cambodia

While planning a round trip in Thailand, thought that why not visit Angkor Wat as well. Found this tour and saw the good reviews, so contacted them via Email with my wishes. Got a quick respons and they said that all can be organized as I asked. The Email communication with mr. Sophoan was spot on and the local guide mr. Kim was amazing.
