DRESS CODE
Angkor is an active spiritual site for Buddhists and citizens who engage in daily worship, prayer and meditation. Revealing clothes such as shorts and skirts above the knees and showing bare shoulders are prohibited in sacred palaces. Respectful dress is strongly encouraged in Angkor due to the respects towards our community.
CURRENCY
Local currency is Riel. USD1 is 4000Riel. US dollars are as commenly used as Riel. US dollars are accepted to pay for food or whatever you buy. You will receive your changes in US dollars. It is best to carry US dollars with you while you are traveling in Siem Reap, Cambodia. There are ATM everywhere in Cambodia where you could pick up US dollars.

ITINERARY
Leaving Siem Reap downtown and cycle along the red soil roads through some splendid villages. There, you can absorb the real fresh air and some eye-catching views of thousands hectares rice field (May-October: field in green, November-January: field in golden color), big crowds of cow, buffalos, ducks, also many bird species flying above us making beautiful sounds. See the lifestyle of villagers and what they do for livings: farming cycle, vegetable grown, haycock and so on. Visit the local market and taste the Khmer typical cookies. See Buddhist pagoda and monks’ day-to-day routine. Stop for lunchtime along Rolous riverside. Continue to Rolous Group to see Preah Ko, Bakong and Lolei. Come back by riding on the ancient highway, built in 10th century, connect between capital Hariharalayah and capital Yaksodaraborak (Krong Angkor nowadays).

Thanks to Poan me and my friends spent a great time in Phnom Penh, Siem Reap and Angkor Temples. Everything perfectly arranged and organised. We heard from Poan a lot of interestings stories about Khmer's history and culture. Folowing our wish Poan also led us on the bike tours through the main and village roads arround Angkor what was very, very impressive.
