Day I - Angkor Wat, Angkor Thom City, Bayon, Ta Prohm, Small Circuit, Phnom Bakheng Hill Sunset or Pre Rup Temple Sunset
Angkor Thom city complex – you will be met and welcomed by our English speaking guide at your preferred pick-up location and then transfer onward to visit the Great City of Angkor Thom, the last capital of the Great Khmer Empire under the reign of Jayavarman VII. This city is surrounded by an 8m high wall; each side of the city is 3 kilometers long. It draws a perfect square you access this town through 5 gates, 4 of them represent the cardinal points and the 5th one the Victory Gate was the one leading directly to the Royal Palace area.
You will arrive via the South Gate, an impressive stone gate carved with Elephants and 4 giant faces. On each side is a row of 54 gods or demons holding the sacred Naga snake.
After passing through the South Gate, you will go down along this shady road to the Bayon temple. This temple lies exactly in the center of the city. The particularity of this monument is the 54 towers representing the 54 provinces of the then Great Khmer Empire. Each tower has 4 faces. This is the only temple in Cambodia depicting scenes of the everyday life at the time of the empire.
From the Bayon continue by walk to the Baphoun recently re-opened to the public. There you will pass by the Phimeanakas the location of the Royal Palace. The only remaining are a pond and a temple. The palace was made of wood and did not survive the time and the wars.
Then continue to the Terrace of the Elephants. This Terrace was the place where the parade was done for the king. Next is the Terrace of the Leper King, depicting the water world.
Ta Prohm overgrown temple – continues transfer to Ta Prohm - one of the most popular temples of the Angkor Complex. This temple was built in the memory of the King Jayavarman VII’s mother. When found by the French conservators at the end of the 19th century, they deliberately left this temple in the same condition as it was discovered, overgrown by strangler fig and silk-cotton trees, giving the temple a mystical and romantic appeal.
Your visit will include Banteay Kdei, a Buddhist monastery from the late 12th century, Srah Srang, also known as the “pool of ablutions”, the identical twin temples of Tommanon and Chaosay Tevoda, Ta Keo and Krovan temple.
Lunch at local restaurant (at your own costs)
Angkor Wat – continue visit the magnificent temple of Angkor Wat, built by Suryavarman II in early 12th century. Angkor Wat is constructed following the model of the temple mountain symbolizing the mount Merou, home of the gods, considered as the masterpiece of the Khmer architecture. This Vishnuite temple is the King’s funerary temple that is why the temple is oriented to the west. Inside the temple the walls are covered by carvings and bas-reliefs depicting the Hindu mythology and the wars Suryavarman II made during his reign. As well Angkor Wat is well known for the 1800 Apsara dancers decorating the all temple. But like most say, it takes a life time to discover all the wonders of this temple.
Return to Siem Reap after watching sunset at Phnom Bakheng Hill. Dominating the flat landscape, this 10th Century mountain temple is the most popular spot in the area to watch a classic sunset over Angkor Wat and the surrounding forest or
Watching sunset at Pre Rup temple, a Hindu temple, built as the state temple of king Rajendravarman and dedicated in 961. It is a temple mountain of combined brick, laterite and sandstone construction. The temple’s name is a comparatively modern one meaning "turn the body". This reflects the common belief among Cambodians that funerals were conducted at the temple, with the ashes of the body being ritually rotated in different directions as the service progressed.
During the night of your stay in Siem Reap, you can enjoy Siem Reap nightlife, night markets, foods and other fun activities in Siem Reap downtown, Pub Street areas and city formerly French colonial head quarter.
Overnight at your hotel in Siem Reap.
Day II - Angkor Wat Sunrise, Beanteay Srei, Banteay Samre, Grand Circuit and Chong Kneah floating village
Angkor Wat sunrise - pick up at 5am for viewing the picturesque sunrise at Angkor Wat.
Return to hotel for breakfast
Banteay Srei - After breakfast at your hotel, depart for an excursion to visit Banteay Srei, made of pink sandstone and is one of the smallest temple you can visit but one of the most beautiful as well. Built in 967 AD by a guru to Jayavarman V, it showcases the most exquisite, deep and complex carvings in all Khmer architectures. As well the carvings and bas-relief are in a perfect condition although being here for more than millenary.
On the way back to Siem Reap, visit an isolated temple of Banteay Samre. Situated on the eastern edge of the Angkor complex, this temple is very similar to Angkor Wat. The structure with its typical lotus flowers shaped tower but has very compact proportions. This temple was built during the best period of the Khmer architecture and its condition is almost perfect.
Grand Circuit - explore the highlights of the Grand Circuit, like the overgrown Preah Khan temple and Neak Poan with its artificial lakes. Continue to East Mebon temple and Pre Rup Temple.
Lunch at local restaurant (at your own costs)
Chong Kneah floating village - transfer to the Phnom Krom pier for boat on Tonle Sap Lake to visit floating village of Chong Kneah at the edge of Tonle Sap Lake. Cambodia’s Great Lake, the Boueng Tonle Sap (Tonle Sap Lake) is the most prominent feature on the map of Cambodia – a huge dumbbell-shaped body of water stretching across the northwest section of the country. In the wet season, the Tonle Sap Lake is one of the largest freshwater lakes in Asia, swelling to an expansive 12,000km2. During the dry, half of the year the lake shrinks to as 3000 km2, draining into the Tonle Sap River, which meanders southeast eventually merging with the Mekong River at the “Chaktomuk” confluence of river opposite Phnom Penh.
Then it's time for shopping at the Artisans d'Angkor, where you can observe young Cambodians being trained in the making of traditional crafts.
During the night of your stay in Siem Reap, you can enjoy Siem Reap nightlife, night markets, foods and other fun activities in Siem Reap downtown, Pub Street areas and city formerly French colonial head quarter.
Return and drop off at your preferred destination.

Whirlwind Tour handled with Perfection
We took the 2 days, 1 night Angkor Wat tour. It was a place we had been wanting to see and being in Thailand, it made sense. But no way I would want to do this trip on my own. And we are very glad we chose Angkor Wat Services Day Tours.
From the first email inquiry, I knew this was a top notch tour. Sophoan was very responsive, even given the 12 hour time difference before we got to Thailand, he would reply within a few hours to questions, and I had a lot.
As you can imagine, taking your family on a trip like this can be a challenge. But they made it easy. We were picked up at 5am from our Bangkok hotel, driven 3 hours to the Cambodian border. There we were met by a gentleman who told us what to expect at Thai immigration as well as Cambodian. He told us what we needed to do, what tricks to watch out for and then met us on the other side afterward. Tricks. So one good one, is the Thai immigration officer who told us it was $35USD for the Cambodian Visa. Right above his head is the sign stating its $30. After a minute of me telling him its $30 and given him exactly $30 per person, our visas got processed. Oh and don't forget there is also another small form you need to fill out as well to exit Thailand. We did not know, got to the officer -was told-had to step out fill out the forms-then the officer let us step back into line. On the Cambodian side it took less time. All total about 1.5 hours to clear both sides.
We were then taken to meet our Cambodian driver Keem (I believe that is his name.) Great guy -did not speak much if any English but could converse in Thai with my wife. We had a great 3 hour drive to Siem Reap. Once there, they took us to a very good restaurant and our hotel. Once done, it was off to tour.
The first stop was a lake (may be an ocean bay -I was a bit out of it given all the activities/chaos of the day and an on-coming major cold). Anyway the boat tour was to a floating Vietnamese village. This to me turned out to be the best part of the tour. It was the most interesting. To see these folks living on wood rafts with hut houses. Not talking down but just amazed at the resiliency of the people. Truly amazing. Once done we were taken back to the hotel and told we had a 5am pick up the next day.
5 am came and we went. Off to Angkor Wat and several other Wat's for touring. The goal was get to Angkor Wat for sunrise. Unfortunately, sunrise was hazy. Still it was beautiful.
Our driver Keem was our driver for the entire tour -that was awesome since we had built a rapport with him already. He would get us water, food and even got me a local beer!
Our guide was Kim. Never a happier man have I seen. He kept us moving and did it with a smile and humor. He was full of great information about the ruins, Cambodia and such. He took pictures for us, and even showed my wife how to do some trick pictures with her iPhone. Kim was awesome and always attentive to our needs. Make sure to ask for him you will not be sorry!
We toured until about 1pm. They took us back to the hotel to clean up and check out. I ordered some food to go from the hotel for dinner and we hit the road for a 3 hour drive back to the border. Crossed back into Thailand quickly -maybe 15-20 minutes total -it was Chinese New Year so likely immigration officers wanted to get to partying so they were lax. Then back to another 3 hour drive to Bangkok. We ended up back at our Bangkok hotel around 10pm.
For those keeping count, the day started at 5am and ended at 10pm with 6 hours of driving and 7 hours of touring in the heat/humidity of Cambodia. Now, the rest of the story....I was hit hard with a cold on the tour day...I pushed through but I can tell you it was a long hard day. If you decide to do the 2 day 1 night tour -make sure you are well rested and take some energy pills -you will need them! In retrospect, we would have preferred 2 nights, but that was not in our budget.
Now for a few tips and information. The Tour does not take credit cards. They do paypal and such. And on the day of, you need to pay in USD. Its how they do business. That was a bit off putting to me at first and of course carrying that kind of cash on you can be unnerving. Having said that -this team and company were just amazing and never once did I have a concern.
I highly recommend this tour company and specifically the gentlemen we had for driver and guide in Cambodia. We spent the most time with them and they never once wavered from being service oriented professionals!
So if you are thinking of touring Angkor Wat -email Sophoan and set up a great tour. You will not be disappointed, though you may be tired afterward. LOL.

100% Weiter-Empfehlings-Rate! Best Organization EVER!

Excellent tour of Angkor Wat
Mr. Sophoan and his team helped make our 2D1N trip to Angkor Wat memorable. Mr. Sophoan is extremely responsive on email and whatsapp and helped put the plan together at very short notice. Everything, including pick up at our hotel, drive to the border, evisa and then drive on to Angkor and the trip back worked like clockwork.
At Siem Reap, Mr Kim met us and guided us to various sights. he is very knowledgeable and enthusiastic. he took some of the best pictures of our trip.
I would recommend this tour to anyone considering going to see these magnificent temples. You wouldn't have to worry about anything if you choose to work with this team.

Kim i jego team
Wypad rewelacja. Obsługa bardzo profesjonalna. Wszystko zorganizowali bardzo sprawnie i szybko, i do tego z dnia na dzień. Sami stracilibyśmy ma to zdecydowanie więcej czasu. Dawka dowcipu i dobrego humoru gigantyczna. Tempo zwiedzania wysokie, ale to zawsze lubiliśmy. Dwa dni to absolutne minimum, by otrzeć się o klimat Angkor Wat. Wschód słońca trzeba zaliczyć obowiązkowo. „Kim i jego team” to rewelacyjna ekipa

Kim and his team
A revelation. Very professional service. They organized everything very efficiently and quickly, and overnight. We would have wasted much more time. A huge dose of wit and good humour. The pace of sightseeing is high, but we always liked it. Two days is the absolute minimum to experience the atmosphere of Angkor Wat. Sunrise is a must. "Kim and his team" is a sensational team

Great experience!
The tour company is very thorough with information and the itinerary so the whole process was smooth! Kim was an amazing guide- he knew all the best spots to take amazing photos and taught us about the history of Angkor wat and surrounding temples! We were picked up by a transfer service in Bangkok and they take pics of you to document proper transfer helping us feel safe. We met our driver for the Cambodian side at the border and he helped us get through customs then took us to siem reap where we met our tour guide. The hotel staff were soo very nice- the hotel is clean and modest but in an excellent location and a block from all the restaurants/shopping of downtown siem reap. The trip back to Bangkok was even more smooth since we knew what to expect and the border crossing easier to get back into Thailand.

Great 2 day tour with Kim.
We did a two day tour From Bangkok. Kim was our guide in Cambodia. We stayed at the Jaya Riverhouse. Kim was excellent, he had a full two day tour planned and understood what our objectives were and Our limitations. I will say getting up at 5 AM for the sunrise was not my cup of tea, but it is definitely worth it and I would do it again. I thought Kim was knowledgeable, his English proficient and his ability to tailor the tour was that of a great tour guide

The Best Tour Ever!
The most amazing tour I have ever taken! Sophoan was the most professional and the most kind in communicating all of the details with me and he took care of everything, from pick-up at my hotel to a super easy border crossing from Thailand into Cambodia, it was all perfect. Kim was the most wonderful tour guide. He was so friendly, knowledgeable, and just a pleasure to spend two days with. Pesith my driver was also so lovely to travel with, making sure I was always comfortable. I chose the one night tour, and I really wish I had done the two night package to see more and spend more time with these amazing people in their beautiful country. I'll definitely return!

This is a beautiful basic 3 day tour which covers the MUST-SEE of Angkor Wat, Bayon, Ta Prohm, Banteay Srei and all other temples in Angkor temple complex.
Tour Highlight
- Small Circuit: Angkor Wat, Angkor Thom City, South Gate, Bayon, Baphoun, Phimean Akas, Royal Palace, Elephant Terrace, Leper King Terrace, Tommanon, Chaosay Tevoda, Ta Keo, Ta Prohm, Banteay Kdei, Srah Srang and Krovan
- Grand Circuit: Preah Khan, Neak Poan, Ta Som, East Mebon and Pre Rup
- Banteay Srei, Banteay Same
- Rolous Group: Preah Ko, Ba Kong and Lo Lei
- Viewing picturesque sunrise at Angkor Wat
- Chong Kneah floating village....
Sprawling jungle temple covering over one square kilometer, the temple is largely overrun by vegetation and very lightly touristed, giving it an adventours, ‘lost temple’ feel. Photographers: trees growing from the broken towers and galleries offer some of the best ‘tree in temple’ shots aside from Ta Prohm. Constructed in a distinctly Angkor Wat style under the same king that built Angkor Wat, Beng Melea preceded and may have served as a prototype of sorts for Angkor Wat. Though there are some lintel and doorway carving, there are no bas-relief and the carvings are comparatively sparse....
