After completion of border crossing, you will be chauffeured on a private luxury AC vehicle by our Cambodian driver to Siem Reap, Cambodia. The drive takes less than two hours.
Siem Reap - is the provincial capital of Siem Reap province. This small town crossed by a river coming from the Kulen Mountain is the gateway for the visit of the Angkor Park which is over 400 km2 and is home of more than 100 temples dating from the 9th to 13th century.
Upon arrival in Siem Reap, you will be met and welcomed by our English speaking guide and then check in to your hotel.
After check in to hotel, transfer for lunch at local restaurant (lunch is at your own cost)
Chong Kneah floating village - after lunch, transfer to the Phnom Krom pier for boat on Tonle Sap Lake to visit floating village of Chong Khneah at the edge of Tonle Sap Lake. Cambodia’s Great Lake, the Boueng Tonle Sap (Tonle Sap Lake) is the most prominent feature on the map of Cambodia – a huge dumbbell-shaped body of water stretching across the northwest section of the country. In the wet season, the Tonle Sap Lake is one of the largest freshwater lakes in Asia, swelling to an expansive 12,000km2. During the dry, half of the year the lake shrinks to as 3000 km2, draining into the Tonle Sap River, which meanders southeast eventually merging with the Mekong River at the “Chaktomuk” confluence of river opposite Phnom Penh.
Return to Siem Reap after watching sunset over the top of Phnom Bakheng Hill. Dominating the flat landscape, this 10th Century mountain temple is the most popular spot in the area to watch a classic sunset over Angkor Wat and the surrounding forest or
Watching sunset at Pre Rup temple, a Hindu temple, built as the state temple of king Rajendravarman and dedicated in 961. It is a temple mountain of combined brick, laterite and sandstone construction. The temple’s name is a comparatively modern one meaning "turn the body". This reflects the common belief among Cambodians that funerals were conducted at the temple, with the ashes of the body being ritually rotated in different directions as the service progressed.
During the night of your stay in Siem Reap, you can enjoy Siem Reap nightlife, night markets, foods and other fun activities in Siem Reap downtown, Pub Street areas and city formerly French colonial head quarter.
Overnight at your hotel in Siem Reap.
Day II - Angkor Wat sunrise, Angkor Wat, Angkor Thom, Bayon, Ta Prohm, small circuit, return and drop off back to your requested location in Thailand
Angkor Wat Sunrise - at 5am, pick up for viewing the picturesque sunrise at Angkor Wat.
Angkor Wat - after sunrise, visit the magnificent temple Angkor Wat built by Suryavarman II in the early 12th century. Angkor Wat symbolizes Mount Meru, home of the gods, and considered the pinnacle of Khmer architecture. This Vishnuite temple is the King’s funerary temple, which is why the temple is oriented to the west. Inside the temple the walls are covered by carvings and bas-reliefs depicting the Hindu mythology and the wars during the reign of Suryavarman II. As well, Angkor Wat is well-known for the 1800 Apsara dancers decorating the temple. It is said to take a lifetime to discover all the wonders of this temple.
Enjoy your hotel packed breakfast at local restaurant in front of Angkor Wat
Angkor Thom City complex - after breakfast, continue to the Great City of Angkor Thom, the last capital of the Great Khmer Empire under the reign of Jayavarman VII. This city is surrounded by an 8 meters high wall; each side of the city is 3 kilometers long. It draws a perfect square with access to this town through 5 gates; 4 of them representing the cardinal points and the 5th one being the Victory Gate leading directly to the Royal Palace area.
You will arrive via the South Gate, an impressive stone gate carved with Elephants and 4 giant faces. On each side is a row of 54 gods or demons holding the sacred Naga snake.
After passing through the South Gate, you will go along a shaded road to the Bayon temple. This temple lies exactly in the center of the city. The particularity of this monument is the 54 towers representing the 54 provinces of the then Great Khmer Empire. Each tower has 4 faces. This is the only temple in Cambodia depicting scenes of the everyday life at the time of the empire.
From the Bayon continue by walking to the Baphoun recently re-opened to the public. There you will pass by the Phimeanakas, the location of the Royal Palace. The only remaining features are a pond and a temple. The palace was made of wood and did not survive the time and the wars.
Then continue to the Terrace of the Elephants. This terrace was the place where the parade was held for the king. Next is the Terrace of the Leper King depicting the water world.
Ta Prohm (known as Tomb Raider temple) & small circuit - continue to Ta Prohm, one of the most popular temples of the Angkor Complex. This temple was built in the memory of the King Jayavarman VII’s mother. When found by the French conservators at the end of the 19th century, they deliberately left this temple in the same condition as it was discovered, overgrown by strangler fig and silk-cotton trees, giving the temple a mystical and romantic appeal.
Lunch at local restaurant (at your own costs)
Your visit will also include Banteay Kdei, a Buddhist monastery from the late 12th century, and Srah Srang, also known as the "pool of ablution", the identical twin temples of Tommanon and Chaosay Tevoda, and Krovan temple.
Stop by Siem Reap downtown exploring Old Market, Pub Street and Siem Reap City formerly French colonial head quarter.
Returning time - at 4pm (but flexible and available upon request), part ways with the tour guide, you will be chauffeured back to Poi Pet border on a private luxury A/C vehicle. Upon arrival at border, you will be met and welcomed by our border English speaking guide. Our border guide will escort you to the door of Cambodia immigration departure checkpoint to stamp your passports to leave Cambodia and then escort you across border to the door of Thailand immigration arrival checkpoint to fill your Thailand arrival cards, stamp your passports to enter Thailand and then take you straight to our office near border in Thailand where our luxury A/C minivan is ready to chauffeur you back to your preferred drop off location in Thailand.

Whirlwind Tour handled with Perfection
We took the 2 days, 1 night Angkor Wat tour. It was a place we had been wanting to see and being in Thailand, it made sense. But no way I would want to do this trip on my own. And we are very glad we chose Angkor Wat Services Day Tours.
From the first email inquiry, I knew this was a top notch tour. Sophoan was very responsive, even given the 12 hour time difference before we got to Thailand, he would reply within a few hours to questions, and I had a lot.
As you can imagine, taking your family on a trip like this can be a challenge. But they made it easy. We were picked up at 5am from our Bangkok hotel, driven 3 hours to the Cambodian border. There we were met by a gentleman who told us what to expect at Thai immigration as well as Cambodian. He told us what we needed to do, what tricks to watch out for and then met us on the other side afterward. Tricks. So one good one, is the Thai immigration officer who told us it was $35USD for the Cambodian Visa. Right above his head is the sign stating its $30. After a minute of me telling him its $30 and given him exactly $30 per person, our visas got processed. Oh and don't forget there is also another small form you need to fill out as well to exit Thailand. We did not know, got to the officer -was told-had to step out fill out the forms-then the officer let us step back into line. On the Cambodian side it took less time. All total about 1.5 hours to clear both sides.
We were then taken to meet our Cambodian driver Keem (I believe that is his name.) Great guy -did not speak much if any English but could converse in Thai with my wife. We had a great 3 hour drive to Siem Reap. Once there, they took us to a very good restaurant and our hotel. Once done, it was off to tour.
The first stop was a lake (may be an ocean bay -I was a bit out of it given all the activities/chaos of the day and an on-coming major cold). Anyway the boat tour was to a floating Vietnamese village. This to me turned out to be the best part of the tour. It was the most interesting. To see these folks living on wood rafts with hut houses. Not talking down but just amazed at the resiliency of the people. Truly amazing. Once done we were taken back to the hotel and told we had a 5am pick up the next day.
5 am came and we went. Off to Angkor Wat and several other Wat's for touring. The goal was get to Angkor Wat for sunrise. Unfortunately, sunrise was hazy. Still it was beautiful.
Our driver Keem was our driver for the entire tour -that was awesome since we had built a rapport with him already. He would get us water, food and even got me a local beer!
Our guide was Kim. Never a happier man have I seen. He kept us moving and did it with a smile and humor. He was full of great information about the ruins, Cambodia and such. He took pictures for us, and even showed my wife how to do some trick pictures with her iPhone. Kim was awesome and always attentive to our needs. Make sure to ask for him you will not be sorry!
We toured until about 1pm. They took us back to the hotel to clean up and check out. I ordered some food to go from the hotel for dinner and we hit the road for a 3 hour drive back to the border. Crossed back into Thailand quickly -maybe 15-20 minutes total -it was Chinese New Year so likely immigration officers wanted to get to partying so they were lax. Then back to another 3 hour drive to Bangkok. We ended up back at our Bangkok hotel around 10pm.
For those keeping count, the day started at 5am and ended at 10pm with 6 hours of driving and 7 hours of touring in the heat/humidity of Cambodia. Now, the rest of the story....I was hit hard with a cold on the tour day...I pushed through but I can tell you it was a long hard day. If you decide to do the 2 day 1 night tour -make sure you are well rested and take some energy pills -you will need them! In retrospect, we would have preferred 2 nights, but that was not in our budget.
Now for a few tips and information. The Tour does not take credit cards. They do paypal and such. And on the day of, you need to pay in USD. Its how they do business. That was a bit off putting to me at first and of course carrying that kind of cash on you can be unnerving. Having said that -this team and company were just amazing and never once did I have a concern.
I highly recommend this tour company and specifically the gentlemen we had for driver and guide in Cambodia. We spent the most time with them and they never once wavered from being service oriented professionals!
So if you are thinking of touring Angkor Wat -email Sophoan and set up a great tour. You will not be disappointed, though you may be tired afterward. LOL.

100% Weiter-Empfehlings-Rate! Best Organization EVER!

An awesome tour guide and great photographer!
Mr. Kim was an awesome guide! He was very thorough on explaining each site and the history of the Angkor empire. He was very patient being my guide and accommodating to all of my needs including helping me take photos. Angkor temples requires a lot of trekking and he made sure I was well hydrated! He knew all the ways to navigate to avoid the large crowds! Highly recommend this tour if you want hassle free guidance!

Two-day, seamless whirlwind trip from Bangkok to Siem Reap and back
The tour operator is too easy to work with in making reservations. Driver from Bangkok to border very cordial and good driver. Assistant at border crossing nice, helpful, and efficient.
Tour guide Mr. Kim and his driver Mr. Khim were fantastic. Mr. Kim can give you as much information as you can absorb. He is proud of Khmer history and Cambodia's wonders. He will encourage you to stay more than a few days and is full of plans for how to get the most out of your visit to Cambodia. His sense of humor is fantastic.
And photographer - WOW! I usually don't care about stuff like that, but Kim knows all the best places to take pictures and is pro with the iPhone.
Unless you really know the area and have a specific plan to execute, just inform your operator in advance what you want to see/do and then let him make the plan. He recommended all kinds of restaurants, activities, etc. that we never would have thought of. E.g., we should have gone with hotel reservations at hotel the tour operator recommended rather than booking it separately, and talk to him about where to get a massage (not your hotel, necessarily).
We wish that we had more time in Siem Reap with Mssrs. Kim and Khim!

Especial mención a los dos Kim en Camboya, cuyo trato fue excepcional, así como sus explicaciones y ayuda.
Sin duda, volvería a hacer un tour con ellos y lo recomendaría a cualquier persona que vaya a Camboya.

"Great experience. Recommended to everyone, I would repeat without hesitation."
Great service from the whole team. From the beginning of the communication to dropping us back at the hotel on the last day. The entire tour is perfectly calculated and they do not neglect any detail. In addition, for people with little time, the tour is perfect, since it is designed to make the most of the time and get to know as much as possible. Special mention to the two Kims in Cambodia, whose treatment was exceptional, as well as their explanations and help. I would definitely do a tour with them again and recommend them to anyone going to Cambodia.

Excellent tour of Angkor Wat
Mr. Sophoan and his team helped make our 2D1N trip to Angkor Wat memorable. Mr. Sophoan is extremely responsive on email and whatsapp and helped put the plan together at very short notice. Everything, including pick up at our hotel, drive to the border, evisa and then drive on to Angkor and the trip back worked like clockwork.
At Siem Reap, Mr Kim met us and guided us to various sights. he is very knowledgeable and enthusiastic. he took some of the best pictures of our trip.
I would recommend this tour to anyone considering going to see these magnificent temples. You wouldn't have to worry about anything if you choose to work with this team.
